Job Title: Strategic Finance Leader

A strategic finance leader is needed to partner with start-ups and high-growth companies in the early-stage ecosystem. This role oversees budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow, and investor communications.

The ideal candidate will build financial discipline and governance frameworks tailored for scaling businesses. They will support valuations for fundraises, secondary transfers, and M&A transactions in compliance with relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic financial partner to start-ups.
  • Build financial discipline and governance frameworks.
  • Support valuations for fundraises, secondary transfers, and M&A transactions.
  • Lead buy-side/sell-side due diligence projects.
  • Provide tax structuring advice for business models and transactions.
  • Manage multiple client engagements with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • CA with 4–6 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory or in a start-up finance team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.
  • Proven track record in client servicing and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
