About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Strategic Sourcing Leader to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end sourcing projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sourcing projects from initiation to closure, focusing on value, speed, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop RFPs/RFXs.
  • Ensure compliance with controls, audits, and regulatory obligations across sourcing cycles.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize buying channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sourcing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and leadership qualities.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills

The following skills would be beneficial:

  • Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (Data Privacy, OCIR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
