Database Administrator Lead

We are seeking an experienced database administrator lead to join our organization.

  • Lead projects to modernize legacy systems and design databases for future applications.
  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and ready for growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available database solutions.
  • Monitoring and optimizing database performance through indexing, query tuning, and storage management.
  • Leading database capacity planning, disaster recovery strategy, and backup/restore processes.
  • Implementing and enforcing database security controls including encryption, access controls, and auditing.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in database administration, design, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in SQL Server with working knowledge of other RDBMS.
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance analysis tools.
