Job Title: Speciality Chef

As a Speciality Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within the speciality section.

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing new dishes.
  • Prepare meat and fish for service, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Contribute to health and safety management and food hygiene practices.
  • Manage and train Commis Chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Monitor portion control and minimize waste.
Requirements:
  • Awareness of HACCP principles to maintain food safety standards.
  • Experience with kitchen equipment and dangerous equipment safety protocols.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Ability to run a section independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good oral communication, team management, and numeracy skills.
