Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive sales growth, expand business, and deliver exceptional client experiences across international markets. This role requires tight alignment with sales targets and KPIs, coupled with proactive efforts to expand our presence in global markets.
Sales Growth & Expansion:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets.
- Actively identify new business opportunities and onboard distributors, resellers, and retail buyers in international markets.
- Expand our client base by identifying untapped markets and regions with high growth potential.
Account Management & Client Relations:
- Build, nurture, and sustain strong relationships with international clients to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, sales trends, and areas for mutual growth.
Target Alignment & Reporting:
- Tightly monitor and align activities with assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable reports to assess account performance and profitability.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
Location: Bengaluru, India
Requirements:
- MBA in Marketing, International Business, or related fields.
- 3-4 years of experience in Key Account Management, International Sales, or Business Development within FMCG, B2B, or the pet industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs in an international setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to negotiate deals and build lasting relationships.
- Analytical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to handle complex, fast-paced situations.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data analysis tools.
