Job Opportunity

  • A robust experience of developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages is essential.
  • Develops new and reviews existing PL/SQL packages to support development initiatives.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, releasing, maintaining, and providing technical support for database development.
  • Reviews PL/SQL packages for changes, performance, and tuning improvements.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of Oracle (RDBMS) Database.
  • Writes complex SQL queries, views, and MVs with coding skills.
  • Writes PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers with coding skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Tuning.
  • Ensures high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
  • Analyzes query execution plans and optimizes queries for speed and resource utilization.
  • Works closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs.
  • Develops scripts and tools for database monitoring, management, and automation.
  • Identifies and resolves database issues, minimizing downtime and impact.
  • Serves as the escalation point for complex database-related problems.
  • Demonstrates ability to excel in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Has a hands-on style, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evolve with a rapidly changing environment is necessary.
  • Stays up-to-date with current and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Leads a team in Development Team.
  • Implements new business features based on requirement specification and technical design.
  • Fixes bugs in existing applications reported by clients or internal testers.
  • Refactors existing code.
  • Executes development tests and creates unit tests.
  • Participates in creating internal business specifications and technical designs for business features.
  • Breaks down features into technical tasks and estimates workloads.
  • Collaborates with colleagues in the development team and entire company.
  • Leads a team of database developers.
