Job Title: Database Engineer L2

We are seeking a seasoned Database Engineer L2 to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, tuning, deploying, securing, migrating, and upgrading DBMS installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements
  • Maintain and optimize database performance, security, and availability
  • Migrate databases across cloud and on-prem platforms with minimal downtime
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement database-driven applications
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on database administration and development
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in database management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 6-8 years of experience in database administration or development
  • Proficient knowledge of database programming languages (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience with database cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) including migration
  • Relevant database certifications on cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux systems, and cloud environments
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
