About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator to lead our team. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Oracle database architecture and be able to collaborate with various teams to resolve performance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert-level comprehension of Oracle database architecture.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Oracle RAC, including installation, upgradation, and management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Engineered systems, such as Exadata and ExaCM.
  • Excellent SQL tuning skills, with experience refactoring queries to improve performance.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot performance issues across the infrastructure layers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle database's high availability features and backup recovery options.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in production environments on databases across multiple operating systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 18 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Prior experience working in Telecom or BFSI companies is highly desirable.
  • Mandatory skills include RAC installation, upgradation, and management, as well as database backup and recovery.
