About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Electrical and Instrumentation Systems: You will design electrical and instrumentation systems for new installations, upgrades, and modifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
  • Installation and Maintenance: You will supervise on-site installation of electrical and instrumentation systems, maintaining quality and safety standards, and develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Project Management: You will assist in preparing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans, and ensure all electrical and instrumentation work adheres to safety regulations and standards.
  • Risk Assessment and Compliance: You will conduct risk assessments and participate in safety audits and reviews, and maintain detailed records of equipment, repairs, inspections, and upgrades.
  • Documentation and Reporting: You will prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and documentation for completed projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in refinery, oil & gas, power, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven Experience: You should have proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and instrumentation, with experience with control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and automation highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong Knowledge: You should have strong knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Design Software: You should be proficient in electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar).
  • Hands-on Experience: You should have hands-on experience with electrical and instrumentation testing and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with Automation Systems: You should be familiar with process control and automation systems such as DCS and PLCs.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting: You should have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong Project Management: You should have strong project management and organizational skills.
