Job Description:

Summary:

We are looking for an Instrumentation Specialist who will lead the effort to develop and manage maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. This role supports asset reliability by developing and assigning appropriate equipment strategy. The Instrumentation Specialist will act as the primary point of contact overseeing the equipment strategy assignment collaborating with team members ensuring project success.

Purpose & Accountabilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments control and shutdown valves analyzer and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation e.g Transmitters control valves flow meters analyzers.
  • Collaborate with operations maintenance and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand Preventive Predictive Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification international instrumentation standards.
  • Skillful Instrument Maintenance Technicians with understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including control valves on-off valves various field instruments.
