Senior Electrical Engineer

As a senior electrical engineer in our company, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Your expertise in designing, selecting, and sizing motors, drives, and motion systems will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our products.

In this position, you will work closely with industrial I/O systems, including B&R PLCs and Siemens PLCs. You will also contribute to risk assessments per SEMI S14, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL standards. Your knowledge of control systems, drive selection, and safety compliance will be essential in guaranteeing the quality and dependability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of motors, drives, and motion systems for semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and clarify technical requirements for new and existing projects.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Design and implement AC/DC power distribution systems that meet NFPA 79, SEMI S22, and UL standards.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for control panels, drives, and I/O systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share best practices within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of drive selection, motor sizing, and motion control principles.
  • Experience with SEMI S14 risk assessment, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL compliance.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; strong knowledge of PLM systems.
