Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee the development of software solutions.

  • Provide strategic direction, conduct code/design reviews, and enforce quality assurance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Guide teams in the design, development, and support of high-availability applications.
  • Ensure smooth DevOps processes and manage production support.

Technical Expertise:

  • Lead architecture, design, and development of web-based enterprise applications using Java (JSP, Struts, EJB).
  • Review and approve designs, technical specifications, and architecture artifacts.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, design patterns, and maintainability.
  • Implement messaging and asynchronous communication via message queues.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data access on relational databases.

Application Development & Maintenance:

  • Drive development using agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Oversee integration and deployment on application servers and cloud platforms.
  • Implement messaging and event processing using queuing systems.
  • Optimize backend operations with complex queries and indexing techniques.
  • Ensure platform scalability, availability, security, and compliance with industry regulations.

Platform Management:

  • Manage core modules such as investor services, electronic contract note management, and securities settlements.

DevOps & Quality Assurance:

  • Set up and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Anchor the QA team for test strategy, QA reviews, and quality compliance.
  • Manage production issues, bug fixing, and performance optimization.

Collaboration & Governance:

  • Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory expectations.
