Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Operations Manager to lead our team in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of utility systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of utility systems, ensuring uninterrupted plant operations and adherence to safety and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day operation and maintenance of utility systems (cooling towers, compressors, pump houses, ETP & STP etc.)
  • Overseeing the operation and maintenance of utility systems, ensuring uninterrupted plant operations and adherence to safety and efficiency standards
  • Planning and implementing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Monitoring utility equipment performance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring timely resolution
  • Maintaining adequate spare parts inventory for critical equipment to ensure operational continuity
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Coordinating with production and maintenance teams to meet plant requirements
  • Preparing reports on equipment performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities
  • Driving cost optimization initiatives while ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Leading and guiding a team of technicians/operators in utility operations and maintenance
  • Knowledge of utility energy optimization and cost-saving practices
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle shift operations and respond to emergencies

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience in Utility Equipment & Mechanical Maintenance
  • Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
