About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled HRIS Operations Expert to join our team at Gartner, a leading research and advisory company.

The successful candidate will provide specialized support in functional areas of expertise, including Workday, to process and troubleshoot end-user inquiries. This role sits within the HRIS organization and requires a candidate with strong employee orientation, understanding of Human Resources business processes, and expert technical knowledge of HR Technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Individually answer escalated associate questions and concerns related to exceptions to the process or policy.
  2. Work with senior-level individuals to obtain approvals for requests.
  3. Create custom reports, schedule reports, and update report expirations.
  4. Manage mass data loads, data quality auditing, organizations, leave of absence, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, and bug/issue resolution processes.
  5. Conduct trend and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  6. Support compliance requests and liaise with key contacts to understand changes in the regulatory environment.
  7. Execute quality assurance efforts to ensure the accuracy of processes, data, and information within HR systems.
  8. Design, build, test, and deploy new functionality.
  9. Implement business process changes, including condition rules, custom notifications, and help text.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in HR systems operations, preferably Workday HCM, including experience with business processes, data structure, domain and BP security, EIBs, reporting & calculated fields, and data auditing.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent service orientation, high sense of ownership, and accountability.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, taking direction from multiple team members.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills and an ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • A 'systems' thinker with a process orientation and significant attention to detail.
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • High level of executive presence.
  • Ability to work successfully with a global team.
  • Hands-on experience on JIRA and ServiceNow preferred.
