Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing stock replenishment in assigned areas of the supply chain network. This includes defining safety stock norms and maintaining stock levels in all CFAs to manage uncertainties in demand and supply. You will also be responsible for delivering fill rates at all CFAs across the country, ensuring on-time finished goods delivery of consumer promotions, new launches, and season plans in alignment with the demand and supply team. Additionally, you will maintain high stock freshness across all CFAs and work on strategies to reduce SLOBs.

You will coordinate between the demand and supply teams to align and ensure stock availability. Your tasks will include daily stock availability monitoring and distribution planning for all CFAs, aligning with the logistics team on dispatch schedules, and releasing dispatch plans. You will also ensure high truck utilization for all vehicle movements, reduce transportation costs, and manage stock levels in CFAs to avoid sales losses or stockouts.

You will proactively look at current gaps in service levels (case fill, delivery performance, service network) and suggest and implement improvement plans. You will align NPD, promotion, and season plans with the demand team and ensure distribution within timelines. You will maintain required stock freshness in all CFAs, highlight SLOB risks, and manage liquidation in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

You will work on action plans to reduce SLOB generation, provide forward requirement visibility to the supply team to ensure stock availability, and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed as a Supply Chain Manager, you should have an MBA in Operations/B.E. with a field of study in Supply Chain, Planning, and Customer Service in Supply. You should also have 2-4 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Planning, and Distribution in the FMCG industry.
