Job Title: Java Production Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Production Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot and are passionate about solving real-time production issues while contributing to development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize technical and analytical skills to resolve critical customer/field technical escalations from support, professional services, sales, and pre-sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team on ongoing escalation statuses.
  • Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Develop tools and techniques to aid root cause analysis using platform data and code base.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work with product management to identify and implement backlog requirements adding value to the product.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical product support roles, preferably in escalations teams.
  • Experience working as L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Working knowledge of microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience troubleshooting and helping with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
  • Passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks.
  • Display high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
