We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Clinical Operations Department, driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute the department's annual business plan, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the Operations Team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and billable targets while controlling costs and non-billable time.
  • Create and implement divisional goals, procedures, and reports to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity levels.
  • Ensure timely delivery of SLA metrics for document processing and queries, meeting internal targets and client contractual expectations.
  • Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Directors, and Associate Directors to develop and execute the clinical operations strategy.
  2. Drive team performance, ensuring the achievement of KPIs, billable targets, and cost control.
  3. Develop and maintain SOPs, WI's, and global regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Project Specialists, Sales, Product, and IT, to support the Clinical Operations Department and wider business.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of 'hands-on' operational leadership and management in a life sciences environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully managing change in an operational setting.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, working well with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Strong knowledge of technology is desirable, with prior experience of leading teams within a life sciences environment advantageous but not essential.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off. The estimated salary for this role is approximately $130,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
