Contract Management Specialist

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to lead international arbitration proceedings, ensuring alignment with global legal standards and corporate interests.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of high-value commercial contracts, as well as vetting contracts from a legal and risk perspective, ensuring compliance and enforceability.
  • Key responsibilities include handling INCO terms, freight agreements, and vessel-related legal documentation, as well as reviewing and managing legal claims, including vessel claims and operational disputes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will provide legal support in procurement-related claims and negotiations, analyse potential liabilities and implement strategies for cost reduction and risk mitigation.
  • Strong understanding of international arbitration, maritime claims, INCO terms, and commercial law is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and legal risk in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a large manufacturing company.
  • Our ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of contract management, arbitration, and operational risk mitigation.
