About the Role:

The Corporate HR Head is responsible for leading the transformation and embedding of the organisation's culture by championing the company's values through strong leadership and inspirational behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive reports on all areas of HR, Payroll and Learning and Development, including Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
  2. Offer strategic advice on employment policies and implement them across the company.
  3. Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff to increase knowledge, share best practice and meet professional standards.
  4. Ensure compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation.
  5. Oversee the execution of the HR Strategy, core areas of the HR department and HR systems, as well as maintaining employee engagement, payroll, reward and recognition.
  6. Drive continuous improvement, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
  7. Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture, ensuring the company values are displayed.
  8. Develop and implement diversity, equality and inclusion strategies that align with company values and business strategy.
  9. Regularly coach, mentor and support colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop relationships and encourage retention.
  10. Enable managers to access guidance and information to manage workforce issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master Degree in HR or relevant field.
  • 12+ years of experience in HR Role with commercial acumen and experience using metrics for driving performance.
  • Able to create people strategy, have pro-active attitude, superior interpersonal skills and positive manner.
  • Curious mindset, agile work ethic and quick decision-making ability.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment Law, thorough attention to detail, good time management and communication skills.
