Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary industrial designer to lead the end-to-end design of our next generation energy solutions.

This role blends customer-centric research, market insight, and cutting-edge design leadership to define products that are not only functional but also distinctive, reliable, and aligned with our brand identity.

The successful candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in industrial design, ideally with high-volume electronic or hardware products, and a proven track record of translating customer and market insights into successful, user-centric product designs.

The ideal candidate will be able to build and lead small, high-performing design teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders across technical and leadership levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field visits with utilities and AMISPs to engage stakeholders and identify real-world pain points
  • Translate insights into a comprehensive Design Requirements Document
  • Lead the industrial design of next-generation meters and rack-mounted devices
  • Define a minimalist, brand-consistent design language that delivers on functionality, aesthetics, cost, and reliability
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
  • Strong expertise in field research, usability studies, requirement gathering, and manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders across technical and leadership levels
