Senior Energy Storage Architect

You will be a leading expert in designing and building high-performance management system (BMS) hardware for battery energy storage systems.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Designing innovative BMS HW systems that meet regulatory requirements, minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI), and adhere to industry standards.
  • Delivering modules/systems on-time, at quality, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide solutions to complex use cases on a day-to-day basis.
Necessary Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (BE/BTech/MTech).
  • At least 12-14 years of experience in developing BMS for energy storage and architecting power electronics concepts.
  • Familiarity with digital circuit design, analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, micro-processors, micro-controllers, DSPs, and other relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries, including UL9540, UL1973, IEC62619, and IEC60730.
  • Understanding of PCB layout constraints and Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries.
  • Experience working with simulation tools (e.g., P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad), FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Skills in working with various sensing technologies, hardware peripherals, and communication circuit design.
