Job Overview: We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion into new markets and channels for our HVLS fans. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in industrial equipment or machinery sales, with a strong network of contacts in the electrical contractor, MEP consultant & contractor, industrial building architects, HVAC consultants, and contractors. They will be responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth, including establishing partnerships with bulk buyers and channel partners across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Research, identify, and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling to potential clients, markets, and focusing on industries such as warehouses, textile manufacturing, plastics, automobiles, and other large manufacturing facilities for new client acquisition. Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and channels, including targeting electrical consultants and contractors/MEP consultants and contractors/HVAC consultants and contractors for direct/indirect sales opportunities. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets, leveraging both direct sales and channel partnerships. Develop and implement sales plans and initiatives to maximize sales volume and profitability.
  • New Partnership Development: Research, identify, and generate leads for bulk buying opportunities for white labeling, also explore opportunities for tie-ups with air compressor dealers. Cultivate relationships with bulk buyers and channel partners for mutual business.
  • Negotiation and Contract Closure: Negotiate and finalize on pricing, terms, and contractual agreements to secure profitable deals and achieve revenue targets. Work closely with the production and operations department to ensure smooth execution of orders and update clients about progress until the installation of fans at their site. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment.
  • Market Intelligence and Strategy Development: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Analyze market data and client feedback to identify opportunities for product or service enhancements and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Min 3 years of sales & BD experience of selling industrial products, machinery to top management of the company.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in industrial machine & equipment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation techniques, and sales methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel across the country as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.
