Business Development and Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Executive to join our team at GOODRICH MARITIME PVT. LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, assessing customer needs and developing strategies to meet their requirements.
- Provide quotes and proposals to clients, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of inquiries into bookings.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve commercial targets, including volume and revenue goals.
- Proactively search for and engage with new customers, building relationships and promoting our freight forwarding services.
- Provide exceptional post-sales support to existing and new clients, ensuring outstanding execution of sales strategies across assigned zones.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge of GMPL Services, leveraging this expertise to drive sales growth and client satisfaction.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or logistics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
