Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the expansion and growth of our Spot-MAS product, with a primary focus on the India market. This role is crucial in driving market penetration, establishing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful adoption of our innovative cancer detection solutions in India and beyond.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion : Identify and develop new market opportunities for Spot-MAS in India, with a focus on establishing a strong market presence and increasing market share.
  • Strategic Partnerships : Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, diagnostic centers, and key stakeholders in India to enhance product distribution and adoption.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth : Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, ensuring the long-term success and profitability of Spot-MAS in the India market.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends in India, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Product Positioning : Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to effectively position Spot-MAS in the India market, tailoring messaging and strategies to local needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all business development activities comply with India’s regulatory requirements and ethical standards in the biotech and healthcare industries.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to align business development efforts with company goals and product development.
  • Reporting & Forecasting : Provide regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and sales forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

Experience :

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the biotech or healthcare industry.

Preferred :

  • Experience with Oncology products, molecular biology, or biotechnology.
  • Experience in genetic testing, diagnostics, or related fields is a plus.

Skills :

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and market expansion in a competitive environment.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the India healthcare market is highly desirable.
  • Language : Proficiency in English is required
