Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Identify and target potential clients for contract staffing solutions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their workforce needs and tailor solutions
  • accordingly.


Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions related to contract staffing.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Provide insights to the leadership team on market dynamics and potential areas for
  • growth.


Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within upGrad Rekrut's suite of services.


Proposal Creation and Presentation:

  • Prepare compelling proposals that highlight the value proposition of upGrad Rekrut's
  • contract staffing solutions.
  • Present proposals to clients in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Address client inquiries and objections effectively.


Contract Negotiation:

  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both upGrad Rekrut and the
  • client.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contractual agreements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics related to business development efforts.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance and provide insights for continuous
  • improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development, with a focus on contract staffing or workforce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment industry and contract staffing trends.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of relevant technology tools and platforms in the staffing industry.
