We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases. Key Responsibilities
  • Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain database systems, including MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine backups, restores, and health checks to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Performance Tuning: Assist in database performance tuning and query optimization to improve system efficiency.
  • Deployment and Support: Support deployment activities and database changes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Help troubleshoot database issues under the guidance of senior DBAs.
  • Documentation: Document processes and contribute to knowledge base to promote best practices and share expertise.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL in a production or development environment.
  • Linux Skills: Familiarity with Linux command line and scripting.
  • Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of database concepts, replication, and backup strategies.
  • Learning Ability: Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team.
Nice to Have
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Monitoring Tools: Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of DevOps or CI/CD workflows.
