Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our databases.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design, implement, and maintain databases using MongoDB and MySQL.">
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and security.">
  • Develop and maintain data categorization and security standards.">
  • Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and management tools to maximize returns.">
  • Provide day-to-day support to internal teams and external partners as required.">
  • Manage outsourced database administration services to perform basic monitoring and administrative-level tasks.">
  • Collaborate with project teams, developers, and others to provide subject matter expertise.">
  • Support application testing and production operations.">
  • Document, monitor, test, and adjust backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.">
  • 5-10 years of experience in managing enterprise databases.">

Skills and Knowledge:

  • ">
  • Installation and Maintenance of MongoDB (sharded, replica).">
  • Deep understanding of MongoDB clusters.">
  • Experience with MongoDB upgradations and migrations.">
  • Knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL.">
  • Backup and Recovery of MySQL and MongoDB.">
  • User-level Access: Risks & Threats.">
  • Synchronous and Asynchronous replication, converged systems, partitioning, and storage-as-a-service (cloud technologies).">
  • Linux operating systems, including shell and Python scripting.">
  • Windows Server operating system.">
  • Industry-leading database monitoring tools and platforms.">
  • Data integration techniques, platforms, and tools.">
  • Modern database backup technologies and strategies.">
