Job Title: Enterprise Data SpecialistAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to customers in-person and virtually for their database needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess existing database deployments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather and record enterprise-wide database requirements by consulting with stakeholders.
  • Develop proposals for professional services that meet customer objectives and goals.
  • Guide customers in creating custom database applications using various programming languages.
  • Troubleshoot database challenges, including performance issues.
  • Migrate databases from other platforms to PostgreSQL.
  • Design and implement high availability configurations for databases.
  • Evaluate security needs and make recommendations.
  • Document work clearly and concisely throughout the project.
  • Implement backup strategies and perform upgrades and patching.
  • Develop data migration strategies to migrate large databases within customer downtime constraints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical expertise in database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in assessing and improving database deployments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
