As a Senior Consultant, you will provide technical assistance to customers, both in-person and virtually, to address their database needs and optimize their deployments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong people skills, an in-depth understanding of database deployments, and a blend of business acumen and technical expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing existing deployments of Postgres and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with product engineering teams to shape the future direction of products
  • Working with sales and sales engineering teams to identify new business opportunities
  • Designing and implementing high-availability configurations using PostgreSQL
  • Developing data migration strategies to migrate large databases efficiently

Requirements include:

  • 7+ years of experience in a professional consulting organization with a strong database foundation
  • ~5+ years of direct experience working with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL database implementation for high availability in large enterprise environments
  • Strong time management skills and ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
