Job Title: Senior Financial Planner

About the role

This position requires a senior financial planner to lead budgeting, forecasting, and analysis initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand financial drivers and align financial plans with business strategies.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Partner with accounting and business teams to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with internal controls.
  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial dashboards, variance analysis, and management reports to leadership.
  • Drive automation and efficiency in financial planning and analysis processes using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Must be a certified accountant (CA).
  • Post qualification 6-8 years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in ERP systems and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
