As a Night Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's night shift.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and able to multitask with ease.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

They will also have basic math and accounting skills, be proficient in MS Office and other relevant software, and have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner overnight
  • Handle reservations and arrange for amenities like wake-up calls, taxis, and shuttle services
  • Assist VIPs and VVIPs in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary
  • Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts and process invoices
  • Balance cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and verify receipts
  • Track key financial metrics such as room occupancy rates and revenues

Accounting Tasks:

  • Audit and reconcile the hotel's daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments
  • Prepare end-of-day reports and summary cash balances for hotel management
  • Verify the completion of end-of-day tasks by previous shifts

Guest Service:

  • Communicate with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure service delivery
  • Oversee the hotel safe and ensure the security of guest valuables
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Provide pre-arrival support for guests arriving on packages

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of front desk experience at managerial level
  • Basic math and accounting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field
