Business Process Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Business Process Manager to lead the end-to-end issuance/fulfillment of new business. This includes managing work-in-progress (WIP), central initiatives, and regular engagement with distribution/policy issuance/underwriting teams to ensure business continuity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Relationship Management:
  • Strengthen relationships with regular engagement with distribution heads and monitor performance improvement opportunities.
  • Managing New Business:
  • Responsible for daily traction on WIP to meet monthly targets, driving WIP clearance through hub teams, and ensuring end-to-end WIP management.
  • Data and Reporting:
  • Deliver reports and analysis on various business parameters to derive action plans for improvement, enable distribution teams with data sets, reports, and dashboards, and support automation agenda with internal departments.
  • Control and Monitor Processes:
  • Evaluate compliance with AxisMaxlife and IRDAI norms, maintain and update SOPs, document changes in existing processes, and process service requests according to defined SLAs.

PROJECTS AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:

  • Benchmark internally and externally to establish best-in-class delivery/quality standards, roll out new guidelines for distribution adherence, and conduct training sessions for team members to perform effectively and efficiently.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  • Monthly governance engagements with Distribution leaders/head, publishing the monthly issuance dashboard/scorecard, driving operational efficiencies with distribution teams, and achieving 92% M0 Issuance, 94% M2 Issuance, FTR of 85%, customer satisfaction through resolution of escalations and requests, and talent retention with minimal attrition.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Education: Graduate/Post Graduate in Management
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years, 5 years in relationship management and Banca operations management
  • Skill Set: Strong knowledge of Bancassurance or Banking Operations Model, excellent communication and analytical skills, data skills, solution-centric approach, customer-centric approach, process documentation, systems approach, computer skills, and team management.
