Accountant Role for Property Clients

This role focuses on delivering high-quality accounting services to U.S.-based property clients.

Job Description:

A dedicated and highly skilled US Property Accountant is needed to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing accounting processes, ensuring financial accuracy for U.S.-based clients.

The chosen candidate should have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and hands-on experience with lease accounting, CAM reconciliation, and other relevant accounting practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong background in Sage Intacct and Yardi.
  • Proven experience working with U.S.-based clients, with a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and its application to accounting processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including lease accounting (ASC 842), CAM reconciliation, and other U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure data accuracy in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key member of a small advisory group, providing expert guidance and accounting solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Communicate directly with clients to address queries, provide updates, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage recurring bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, ensuring consistent and accurate financial reporting.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide training and support to junior staff or clients in the use of accounting software and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated on U.S. GAAP regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance in all accounting activities.
