Job Title: Travel Support Specialist

The role of a Travel Support Administrator plays a pivotal part in planning, organizing and managing travel arrangements for individuals or groups.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating Travel Arrangements: Booking flights, accommodations, transportation and other travel logistics to ensure smooth and efficient travel experiences.
  • Budget Management: Overseeing travel expenses and ensuring costs stay within allocated budgets.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensuring all travel arrangements adhere to client travel policies and procedures.
  • Negotiating with Vendors: Securing the best rates and services from travel agencies.
  • Itinerary Management: Checking and sharing detailed travel itineraries to meet traveler needs.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolving issues that arise during travel, such as flight cancellations or unexpected changes.
  • Travel Advice: Providing travelers with information on travel regulations and safety protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of travel arrangements, expenses and other relevant data.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with travelers, vendors and stakeholders.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to quickly resolve travel-related issues and proficiency in using computer systems for booking and managing travel. Fluency in English is often required, and knowledge of other languages can be an advantage.
