Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Job Description:
  • Make outbound calls to insurance companies on behalf of doctors/physicians to follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Prioritize pending/overdue tasks for calling/working from the aging basket.
  • Work with claims companies (payers) to reprocess claims for payment of outstanding claims.
  • Verify demographic/insurance information provided by patients.
  • Escalate difficult collection situations to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Review provider claims that have not been paid by insurance companies or denied by them.
  • Handle patient billing queries and update account information.
  • Work on denied claims and route them to the correct department for resolution.
  • Educate patients on their billing and insurance options.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work queue.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent typing skills, with a speed of at least 30-35 words per minute.
