Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Legal and Compliance Manager to spearhead the safeguarding of our company's legal interests and compliance standards.

This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in contract review, drafting, and negotiation. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior legal counsel and other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, client agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions. Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
  • Legal Advisory: Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Provide advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to stakeholders.
  • General Legal Support: Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meeting minutes and regulatory filings. Support the legal team with dispute resolution, litigation, and other legal matters as required.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A strong LLB degree or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
  • Proficiency in email and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of contract laws and commercial agreements.
