Job Description:

The role of Principal Legal Counsel is designed to be a key member of the legal department with diverse legal skill sets. The ideal candidate will work closely with highly skilled members of the legal team to provide expert advice and solutions to complex business issues.

This position requires an individual with extensive experience in corporate compliance, having handled global investigations and negotiated remediations. Strong analytical skills relating to business processes, data, and interpersonal relations are also essential.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing effective corporate compliance programs, as well as experience in public speaking and business presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Own, implement, and adopt Infosys' Whistleblower Program with global and regional reach
  2. Handle global investigations on various issues and negotiate remediations
  3. Achieve corporate compliance operational objectives by contributing to the Compliance & Integrity Plan and its reviews
  4. Review and improve whistleblower systems, employee feedback mechanisms in close collaboration with HR
  5. Plan, organize, and conduct trainings and communications to enhance and grow the whistleblower program
  6. Interpret new regulations and laws by reviewing proposed and adopted state legislation and regulations
