Job Title

As a Technical Accounting Lead, you will play a key role in our organization's financial management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to utilize their expertise and leadership skills to drive business results.

Responsibilities include:
  • Researching complex accounting transactions and providing guidance on appropriate accounting treatments
  • Evaluating and implementing new accounting standards, including FASB and SEC guidelines, and Big 4 interpretive guidance
  • Conducting intangible asset and goodwill impairment assessments, as well as related party analysis
  • Reviewing existing desktop procedures and developing new business processes
  • Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, including US GAAP and SEC
  • Developing annual and quarterly footnotes to financial statements, providing detailed explanations of complex accounting treatments
  • Implementing improvements to accounting policies, procedures, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Providing technical analysis of financial results for management
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors on transactions
  • Coordinating with Corporate Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Tax, and Acquisition and Integration Accounting teams to resolve accounting matters
For this role, we are seeking an individual with:

Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.A. in Accounting or Finance required, MBA or Master's Degree in Accounting preferred
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Public company and Big 4 experience desired
- 8+ years related job experience
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of US GAAP principles
- Familiarity with GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities and multitasking skills
