Smart Lighting Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative smart lighting solutions that meet client expectations and adhere to industry standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and specify smart lighting systems, ensuring seamless integration with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer experiences from initial contact to project completion.
  • Work closely with local operations teams to ensure accurate design iterations and timely project delivery.
  • Develop wireless lighting control solutions for various projects, leveraging industry expertise and best practices.
  • Provide consultative services and training to other specifiers and lighting designers on solution specification for independent projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Proven 3-10 years of experience in lighting and lighting controls, including DALI, KNX, Control4, and Lutron.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is essential, with Bluebeam experience being a plus.
  • Proficiency in providing hands-on demonstrations and explaining technical details of lighting control systems.
  • Prior experience working with system integrators is beneficial.
  • Previous project experience from design stage to installation stage is necessary.
  • Basic understanding of electrical work and excellent time management skills.
  • Attention to detail, technical problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Sharepoint.
