We are looking for a Technical controls designer- Smart Lighting

Responsibilities

  • Design, specify and provide smart lighting controls design, meeting client expectations and adhering to company standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales team to ensure smooth customer journey from Sales team to Design.
  • Collaborate with local Operations team to ensure accurate design iterations and smooth project delivery.
  • Specify wireless lighting control solutions to projects in the market.
  • Provide consultative and training services to other specifiers and lighting designers to specify solution for their independent projects.
  • Work with team as an advocate for specifiers.

Education

  • Degree in Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proven 3-10 years of technical expertise and experience in lighting and lighting controls such as DALI, KNX, Control4, or Lutron.
  • Experience with AutoCAD required.
  • Experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Proficient in providing hands-on demonstrations and explaining technical and functional details of lighting control systems.
  • Prior working experience with system integrators is a plus.
  • Previous project experience from design stage to installation stage.
  • Basic understanding and experience in simple electrical work.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to independently multitask and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams and Sharepoint.
