Corporate Insurance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Insurance Manager to oversee policy placements, review and negotiate policy terms, manage complex claims, and build relationships with Insurers and Brokers.

This role requires a strong understanding of corporate insurance principles and practices, excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, knowledge of credit insurance products, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Policy Placements: Collaborate with Insurers to secure policy placements for the company, including Property, Employee Benefit, and Project insurance.
  2. Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate policy terms and commercial agreements with Insurers and Brokers to ensure optimal outcomes for the organization.
  3. Claims Management: Manage complex claims related to Wind and Business Interruption (BESS) disruptions, working closely with Insurers and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  4. Credit Insurance Products: Possess knowledge and experience of dealing with Credit Insurance products, including Surety Bonds and Trade insurance.
  5. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Insurers, International Reinsurers, Brokers, and Liaison officers to ensure seamless business operations.

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of corporate insurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of credit insurance products, including Surety Bonds and Trade insurance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
