India Strategy Leadership Role

This is a senior executive position that requires strong leadership skills to drive the India strategy and oversee operations, governance, and compliance.

  • The role involves managing a talented team of 11 professionals and being based in Bengaluru at least two days per week.

This is a key leadership position that demands exceptional understanding of governance, compliance, and HR practices, as well as strong financial acumen and experience managing profit and loss statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate as a legal representative and director for all Indian entities, upholding local laws and internal policies.
  • Oversee budgeting, team management, financial planning, and reporting across business units.
  • Lead and develop the Bengaluru-based team, mentor managers, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Deliver against a mission-led strategy focused on professional development, engineering excellence, and social impact.
  • Liaise with international teams for operational alignment.
  • Represent the organisation confidently in legal, governance, and business forums.

About You:

  • Proven operational leadership experience in India, preferably in a professional membership body or association.
  • Exceptional understanding of governance, compliance, and HR practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing profit and loss statements.
  • Ability to drive strategy with warmth, rigour, and agility.
  • Line management experience with gravitas to lead national delivery.
