Job Overview
  • To drive business growth by acquiring new customers in targeted segments and generating referrals from specified catchment areas.
  • To ensure high-quality customer acquisition, focusing on product mix, segment composition, and customer constitution.
  • To provide initial customer support and facilitate seamless onboarding (offer relevant advice, expedite account opening within agreed timelines, familiarize customers with branch services, and track welcome kit delivery). Ensure repeat funding and effective account utilization for business transactions.
  • To proactively register and activate acquired customers to digital banking channels.
  • Collaborate with the Business Relationship Leader in catchment mapping and scoping exercises. Provide regular feedback on opportunities, customer needs, and competition benchmarks.
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisition by analyzing transaction banking needs of customers.
  • Adhere strictly to selling norms defined by the organization and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain quality sourcing aligned with bank policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective customer handholding and M+1 activation.
  • Proactive registration and activation of acquired customers.
  • Catchment mapping and scoping exercise collaboration.
  • New customer acquisition targeting.
  • Sales process adherence and KYC compliance.
