Job Description

A strategic liaison between international governments and potential investors, the Investment Attraction Business Development Manager drives investment promotion projects across various sectors.

The role involves building relationships with C-level executives to identify new opportunities for business growth and economic development. The successful candidate will lead FDI advisory projects from start to finish, drive business development initiatives, and facilitate B2B meetings, trade roadshows, and investment promotion events.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to attract foreign direct investment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, trade bodies, and international economic development organizations.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their investment objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Conduct high-level discussions with CEOs, CFOs, and CXOs to understand international expansion plans.
  2. Analyze sectoral trends and identify potential investors for targeted geographies.
  3. Identify and pursue new opportunities for investment promotion, executing ongoing projects from research to investor outreach.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in investment promotion, economic development, international trade, or market-entry consulting.
  • Industry Exposure: Knowledge of FDI, global trade, and sectoral trends.
  • Networking Ability: Strong CXO-level engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Research & Analysis: Capability to interpret market intelligence and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English; confident presenter to senior stakeholders.
  • Education: MBA/PG in Business, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or related fields preferred.
