Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Reconciliation and Settlements Manager. This is a key role that will play a vital part in advancing our mission of enriching the world through digital commerce and financial services.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, with a proven track record of success working in a team-based environment. They will be instrumental in managing and supervising Reconciliation and settlements related activities, ensuring an effective and efficient operating model is maintained.

  • Process all payments and transactions within pre-set standardized turnaround times and ensure SLA are complied with.
  • Work cross-organizationally and functionally to identify key opportunities in process, technical, and human interfaces and develop and implement plans to capitalize on those opportunities and measure and monitor success and impacts.
  • Ensure that the operational risk is effectively managed and addressed in all aspects of the payments and settlement function.

The responsibilities include leading projects related to payments and reconciliation, ensuring their timely completion, achievement of objectives and cost efficiency. The candidate must also ensure that any audit points have been addressed and cleared in a reasonable time.

What matters in this role:

  • Relevant work experience: Preferably from International Payment Gateways, Fintech, Acquiring settlement and Banks in merchant's settlement and reconciliation experience
  • Years of work experience: Minimum of 5 years of banking experience and proven leader with predominant experience of merchant's settlement and reconciliation of payment Gateways transactions, refunds, cash management and nostro reconciliation, etc.
  • Qualification: Minimum of graduation from a recognized University, Preferred choice will be from the accounting background (B.COM)
