We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to manage our revenue accounting processes from start to finish.

This role involves ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenues in compliance with accounting standards, as well as reviewing customer contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue treatment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in revenue accounting or recognition, preferably in a SaaS, technology, or services environment. A strong understanding of accounting standards and practical application in complex contract scenarios is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end revenue accounting processes.
  • Review customer contracts and agreements for revenue treatment.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to assess deal structures and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies.
  • Analyze deferred revenue, billing schedules, and revenue forecasts to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
  • Partner with IT teams to enhance automation and reporting capabilities related to revenue.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or recognition.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and revenue sub-ledgers or modules.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
