Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Revenue Recognition specialist to join our finance team.

This individual will bring expertise in revenue accounting under US GAAP, specifically ASC 606, ensuring compliance and accuracy of revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end revenue recognition process according to US GAAP (ASC 606).
  • Analyze customer contracts for proper revenue recognition treatment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate data flow and contract interpretations.
  • Prepare revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Foster timely collections from customers.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls over revenue recognition processes.
  • Support external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Pursue process improvement initiatives and automation of revenue reporting and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in revenue recognition or technical accounting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
  • Proficiency in financial software preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
