Strategic Financial Lead

We are seeking an experienced financial leader to oversee our financial operations and drive performance across business units. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong commercial mindset, capable of supporting growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for retail and online segments.
  • Perform variance analysis, scenario planning, and KPI tracking to support strategic decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and cost control.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform business decisions.

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a finance business partner to sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies, promotional planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Support expansion initiatives, including new investments.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

  • Monitor cash flow projections and working capital requirements.
  • Optimize inventory and receivables to improve cash conversion cycles.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial modeling.
