Tender Manager Job Description

  • Manage the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, requests for proposal (RFPs), expressions of interest (EOIs) in line with client requirements.
  • Review tender documents, identify compliance requirements, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate inputs from internal teams, including technical, legal, finance and business development to compile high-quality proposals tailored to sustainability projects.
  • Develop knowledge base of templates, case studies, credentials and standard bid documents.
  • Track and monitor opportunities from government bodies, corporates and international organizations.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and follow-up with clients.
  • Support market research, pipeline development and competitive analysis related to tendering.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in Tender Management, climate change and sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures in government, corporate or donor-funded projects.
  • Experience working on tenders of organizations such as World Bank, ADB, UNDP etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments, manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in drafting proposals for sustainability, carbon credits or renewable energy projects.
  • Exposure to working with international donors, development banks or corporates.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
