Job Title: Strategic Bid Manager
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our bid management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, business development, and proposal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bid strategy development for Oil and Gas, Energy, and other sectors.
- End-to-end bid management, including technical write-ups, cost estimation, subcontracting, joint ventures, consortiums, client liaisoning, and project management.
- Tender identification from PSUs, government agencies, and private companies through various resources.
- Maintaining excellent professional relations with clients and coordinating with central functions for bid compliance.
- Coordination with the execution team and maintaining relationships with external parties for bidding jobs.
- Liaising and day-to-day correspondence, including legal contractual correspondences with customers.
- Generation of relevant MIS reports and tender tracking updates.
- Achieving order booking targets from tenders.
- Maintaining documentation and correspondence of BD activities and updating credentials on a regular basis.
- Business sales forecasting.
- New empanelment and renewal of existing empanelments with PSU and other agencies.
Requirements:
- B.Tech (Elect/Mech) or equivalent with 10 years of experience in bidding/tendering; overall 10-15 years of experience.
- MBA preferred.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of bidding & tendering activity.
- Strategic and analytical ability, good writing and calculation skills.
